Merida bikes CZ decided to publish a life-style magazine for their top customers. The main objective was to design a smart-looking magazine to present news, interviews, technologic spots etc. from company itself as well as from world of cycling. Magazine consists of eighty pages, is published twice a year and distributed in Czech Republic and Slovakia.
Style of the magazine itself is based on corporate visual identity – mostly on type and color. These basic elements followed by the development of unique type customized according to the needs of stencil graphics on the cover. Cover itself is being printed in metallic color, first issue with stenciled logo, the upcoming one with simple monochromatic print. However, the main visual elements are established from the first issue, we still work on the look of the magazine to be more coherent, yet every section unique.
